A glider-to-pi converter was found by Mitchell Riley in August 2023 .[1] The converter involves no bait objects, and consists of a block and a larger catalyst .
In the unmodified form, the output pi-heptomino hits the block only a few generations later, destroying catalysts; there are no known stable conduits that could be appended to move the reaction away.
Adding an eater 1 results in a beehive factory that can be used as a compact non-Spartan beehive stopper .[2]
An unix or a mold can convert the forming beehive into a glider on the input lane, resulting in a p36 glider/pi hassler.[3] [4]
